Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with North Korean Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hee at the Moscow Foreign Ministry's official residence and evaluated that "very close relations have been established in the military and special services sectors of the two countries."
In response, Foreign Minister Choi Sun-hee said he will always be with his Russian comrades until the day Russia wins Ukraine's "special military operation."
"The United States and South Korea have trained several times with the aim of using nuclear weapons against North Korea," he said. "These provocative actions pose a risk of breaking the power of the Korean Peninsula at any time."
He stressed that Kim Jong-un yesterday confirmed that he would never change his nuclear-strengthening policy.
Before the meeting, Lavrov and Choi visited Moscow's Yaroslavsky railway station to attend a plaque unveiling ceremony commemorating Kim Il-sung's 1949 visit to the Soviet Union.
Foreign Minister Choi left Pyongyang on the 28th of last month, passed through Vladivostok in the Russian Far East, and arrived in Moscow on the 30th.
