A 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck 83km southeast of Geomundo Island.

A 2.9-magnitude earthquake occurred at around 9:30 p.m. today (1st) in waters 83km southeast of Geomundo Island in Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do.

The epicenter was observed to be 33.43 degrees north latitude, 127.86 degrees east longitude, and the depth of the earthquake was 19 kilometers.

The Korea Meteorological Administration predicted that there would be no damage from this earthquake.
