As the recordings of the phone calls between President Yoon Suk Yeol and Myung Tae-kyun were made public, the last parliamentary audit of the presidential office this year led to a slugfest between the ruling and opposition parties over suspicions of intervening in the nomination.
The opposition party even mentioned the president's resignation, saying the explanation from the president's office does not add up, but the ruling party protested that it was a malicious political offensive to kill the president for Lee Jae-myung's bulletproofness.

The Democratic Party of Korea slammed the explanation given by the president's office after the publication of the promotion of President Yoon, who spoke with Myung Tae-kyun, as sophistry that even elementary school students would laugh.
What do you mean by never intervening when there was a voice that intervened in the nomination, and how funny do you know the people to make such an explanation?
[Rep. Ko Min-jung / Democratic Party of Korea]: The president said he brought it from the nomination committee, but the president's office answered that he had not been briefed on the nomination. Isn't that a contradictory answer?]
He emphasized that he was the president-elect at the time of the call, but criticized that the nomination of former lawmaker Kim Young-sun was announced after the presidential term began, and that the existing explanation that he had not contacted Myung since the presidential election was also a lie.
First lady Kim Gun-hee, who did not respond to the National Assembly's request for attendance, issued a second accompanying order, and eventually the president stepped down.
[Yoon Jong-gun / Democratic Party member: It's a terrible situation. Please voluntarily step down from the president with the intention of preventing further chaos in state affairs and saving the country. (Are you not willing to suggest?)]
The office of the president
is not behind either.
In the early days of his political introduction, President Yoon explained that he had listened to Myung's advice, but he interfered with this and that and cut the relationship with her, and that he only briefly made a good-natured phone call the day before his inauguration.
[Jeong Jin-seok / Presidential Chief of Staff: I think it's the continued context of the opposition political campaign to save the leader of the party by killing the president]
He responded by asking Lee Joon-seok of the New Reform Party, who was the leader of the People's Power at the time, saying that there was no problem legally or in common sense.
[Jeong Jin-seok / Presidential Chief of Staff: No, I went to a temple in Gyeongsangnam-do at 4 a.m. with CEO Lee Jun-seok and planted red plum blossoms.]
[Cheon Ha-ram / New Reform Party Member: Water burns, does that burn? This is why the approval rating is this shape.]
[Jeong Jin-seok / Presidential Chief of Staff: Think about the approval rating of the New Reform Party. (Are you kidding me?)
The ruling party argued that President Yoon's development may have been edited and manipulated, citing the so-called "Biden, Fly."
[Kang Myung-koo / People's Power: I think it's a typical Democratic Party-style plan exposure and political maneuvering. Unilaterally calling a witness to the National Assembly to protect Lee Jae-myung's father, embarrassing him....]
The Democratic Party of Korea, which declared a political emergency and launched a general offensive on loans after disclosing its promotion of President Yoon, will continue its public opinion campaign with a large-scale outdoor rally today (2nd).
The confrontation in November is expected to become even steeper as the president's office is also firm in its intention that it cannot be pushed back by a unilateral political offensive.
