Traffic control in some sections of the city center on the 3rd due to the Seoul Marathon.

With the Seoul Marathon held, vehicle traffic from Sangam World Cup Park to Olympic Park will be sequentially controlled on the 3rd.

The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said it will control the lanes of the Sangam World Cup Park section, the full course gathering and departure point for the marathon, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Then, lanes in downtown areas such as Mapo Bridge, Cheonggyecheon-ro, and Jamsil Bridge will be controlled in turn, and the Olympic Park section, which is the destination, will be controlled until 1:30 p.m.

The 10km course from Sangam-dong to Yeouido Park is controlled from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m.

In order to reduce traffic congestion and inconvenience to citizens, 1,437 people, including traffic police, will be deployed around the control section to induce vehicle diversion.
