The Korean Parade and Festival, a big festival representing the Korean community, were held in Manhattan, New York, the United States.
It was held for the first time in five years after being suspended due to COVID-19, and mainstream U.S. politicians, including the mayor of New York, led the march, creating a meaningful place of harmony where locals and the Korean community came together.

Our powerful rhythm resonates in the middle of Manhattan, New York.
Chwita-dae, dressed in traditional costumes, travels through the streets with the New York Mounted Band.
Behind the procession of compatriots wearing hanbok and waving Korean flags, a New York police band plays a marching song to add to the festive heat.
This is the site of the 2024 Korean Parade at the heart of Manhattan, American Avenue.

The New York Korean Association has held an annual Korean Parade for Korean compatriots in New York since 1980.
The festival, which has lasted more than 40 years, has become a place of harmony between Korean Americans and mainstream American society beyond the unity of the Korean community.
The event was also attended by many mainstream U.S. politicians, including New York Mayor Eric Adams, a U.S. congressman, and a New York congressman.

The Korean Festival, which was held together, received great response with a variety of compositions that allowed you to feel the taste and beauty of Korea in one place.
From the event of making 500 servings of bibimbap to booths that introduced Korean food such as galbi and pajeon became popular,
Traditional games such as
archery and jegichagi, and K-pop and K-beauty experience spaces were also crowded with visitors.
The compatriots who participated in the event said in unison that it was a meaningful time to feel proud as a Korean.
