Kim made the remarks in a statement to the Korean Central News Agency, criticizing U.N. Secretary-General António Guterres' statement condemning North Korea's ICBM launch.
He then stressed that he should not do stupid things expecting change, and that he completely rejects Secretary-General Guterres' unfair and prejudicial attitude.
He pointed out, "Can peace really come if we unilaterally refrain from doing serious harm to countries that are hostile to us?"
In addition, he said, "Sanctions and pressure have only made us stronger."
