Icheon Police Station in Gyeonggi Province booked a man in his 40s on charges of concealing the body.
The man is accused of hiding the body of his father, who is in his 70s, in a freezer in his home.
The father, who is in his 70s, is believed to have died in September last year.
So I kept him in the freezer for almost 10 months.
The case was unexpectedly revealed because A, a man in his 40s, revealed his crime himself.
This man came to the police station yesterday afternoon and turned himself in.
Later, police who were dispatched to the scene found the body of a man in his 70s stored in a freezer at A's house.
A is said to have told the police that he has been hiding his father's body due to property-related issues.
First, the police investigated A and sent him back home.
It is not yet known how the man in his 70s died, but police will ask the National Forensic Service to conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of the victim's death.
I'll give you more detailed news as soon as I get it.
