"The Sheikh Radwan Primary Medical Center in northern Gaza was attacked," WHO Director General Ghebreyesus said in a post on social media, without mentioning the attack's main agent.
Secretary-General Ghebreyesus explained that the attack occurred at a time when parents were bringing their children to an area where they agreed to stop humanitarian fighting.
The WHO resumed the second dose of the polio vaccine in northern Gaza yesterday, local time.
Gaza's vaccination project, which began in September, was completed in both the central and southern regions, but in the north, it was postponed last month as Israeli-Hamas fighting intensified.
