The body of a woman in her 30s was found on the Bukhangang River in Hwacheon, Gangwon Province, on the 2nd.

The police arrested an active-duty soldier man, a prime suspect, in Seoul within a day, and it was found that he admitted to the murder charge.

The body of a woman in her early 30s was found at 2:45 p.m. on the 2nd in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do.

The body was not much decomposed, but it was divided into several pieces and damaged.

Police identified a man in his late 30s as a prime suspect and caught him in a day in the basement of Ilwon Station in Gangnam, Seoul.

The police arrested A, who was dressed in casual clothes, in the men's bathroom and brought him out.

There was no resistance during the arrest.

After checking the police, A's status was an active-duty soldier.

A was found to have admitted murder to the police.

Police are investigating the exact relationship between A and the victim, and first of all, it has been confirmed that neither of them was a resident of Gangwon-do.

Police are investigating the specific place of murder and the motive of the crime, believing that A may have killed the victim elsewhere and abandoned her in Hwacheon.

In addition, as the body of the victim has not been fully recovered, the search for the Bukhangang River will continue.
