Soldiers enter a building in the middle of the night and immediately subdue a man in underwear.

The Israeli military released it, saying it was a video of the arrest of an Iranian man who had been engaged in espionage activities near the border.

It is officially the first time that the Israeli military has deployed ground forces into Syrian territory like this.

Unit 621, an elite commando, carried out this mission.

The exact timing and location were not disclosed.

Until now, Israeli forces have been conducting airstrikes on military bases in Syria on the grounds that they are linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps.

In April this year, the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, bombed the consulate building, killing high-ranking commanders.

Israeli forces have also been conducting airstrikes in southern Lebanon for six weeks.

The goal is to remove the pro-Iran militant Hezbollah commander.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said he has no intention of stopping the military operation after touring Lebanon's border.

It also continued to bomb Palestinian militant Hamas operatives in northern Gaza.

As has often been the case, hospitals where patients, including children, were being treated were also attacked.
