Oklahoma City officials say the damage is severe, with at least 11 people injured and taken to hospital in the early morning of three days local time, and the roof of the building torn off and vehicles flying.
The Associated Press reported that more than 99,000 locations in Oklahoma City have lost electricity due to the storm, but more than 24,000 households are still complaining of power outages.
The National Weather Service said more than six tornadoes hit Oklahoma overnight, stressing caution as more heavy rain with lightning could fall.Rescue authorities for
said many utility poles and trees collapsed and roads were cut off, explaining that the situation was making rescue efforts difficult.
