An official from the presidential office said in a call today (4th) that it would be difficult to formalize the installation of the second annex within this week.
The official said it was due to physical reasons such as construction delays, adding that the arrangement of household appliances has not been completed.
The Second Annex is an agency belonging to the Presidential Secretariat that officially assists the First Lady in her activities.
Earlier, President Yoon Suk Yeol pledged to abolish the second annex when he was a presidential candidate, but decided to revive the second annex after various controversies surrounding First Lady Kim Gun-hee arose.
