A Russian who arranged illegal employment of dozens of foreigners with false documents has been arrested and handed over to prosecutors.

On the 31st of last month, the Ministry of Justice's Seoul Immigration and Foreign Affairs Office's special immigration investigation team arrested a Russian illegal employment broker in his 40s on charges of violating the Immigration Control Act.

For half a year since April last year, Mr. A is accused of receiving hundreds of thousands of won per case to 25 Kyrgyz people seeking illegal employment, writing false documents as if they were used car traders, and arranging to apply for a visa to the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan.

It was investigated that A avoided the authorities' tracking by using the name of a new invitation company or falsely inserting a real foreign trader into the invitation list.

The investigation team will also continue its investigation into Korean women and officials from invited companies, who are brokers for forgery of documents who participated in A's crime.
