Two years ago, Myung Tae-kyun, suspected of intervening in a strike by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering's subcontracting union, was accused of obstruction of business.

The Gyeongnam headquarters of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions filed a complaint with the police today (4th) on charges of obstructing the execution of public affairs by hierarchies.

They held a press conference before the accusation and claimed that even though Mr. Myung was a civilian, he only represented the management's position and falsely reported it to the president, interfering with the president's execution of official duties.

He then urged the police investigation to reveal the actual truth, saying that it also interfered with union strikes and labor-management negotiations.
