According to the Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province, AI antigens were detected on the 1st after examining wild bird feces collected from Jeongeupcheon Stream.
It is the second antigen detection since highly pathogenic AI was first identified in wild bird feces collected from Mangyeonggang River in Gunsan on the 2nd of last month.
Jeollabuk-do has set a 10km radius of the detection area as a wild tidal forecast area and strengthened quarantine on 60 poultry farms around it.
