Unlicensed 20-somethings Examine Arrest Warrant for 'Gangnam Eight Crash'

A woman in her 20s who caused an eight-car collision while driving without a license in Gangnam Station, Seoul, has been reviewed for an arrest warrant.

The Seoul Central District Court is conducting a substantial examination of the arrest warrant for A, who is suspected of violating the Road Traffic Act, today (4th).

After the accident, A did not answer any questions from reporters asking why he fled and whether he was taking tranquilizers and headed to court.

A is accused of driving unlicensed on Teheran-ro near Gangnam Station in Seoul at around 1:40 p.m. on the 2nd, causing an eight-car collision, including seven vehicles and a motorcycle, and driving backwards.At least eight vehicles, including A's car, were damaged in the

accident, and nine people, including the driver and passenger, were injured and two people were taken to the hospital.

About 40 minutes before the accident, A hit a mother who was pushing a stroller with a child in Geoyeo-dong, Seoul, and ran away.

Mr. A stated that he had taken tranquilizers and drove in a police investigation because he was negative in a simple drug test and a drinking test.
