The Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's public crime investigation team sent four people, including MBC reporter Lim, to the prosecution on charges of leaking personal information of Han Dong-hoon, CEO of People's Power.

Reporter Lim and others are accused of leaking the data of Han's confirmation hearing, including the first copy of his resident registration, to others in the process of going through the confirmation hearing for the nominee for justice minister in 2022.

Earlier in April last year, the police received a related complaint and launched an investigation, and conducted a search and seizure of Lim's home and vehicle.
