Lee Jae-myung, chairman of the Democratic Party of Korea, met with SK Group Chairman Chey Tae-won to hear his opinions on the direction of support for the artificial intelligence and AI industries.

Before attending the "SKAI Summit 2024" event at COEX in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, CEO Lee said at a meeting with Chairman Choi, "We are sorry that we have to help but we cannot."

Then Chairman Choi expressed regret that there are many areas where the law is not systematized, so it is difficult to come up with new ideas.

In a meeting with AI entrepreneurs, CEO Lee said, "I'm so into ChatGPT these days, and I want to hear a lot from the field," and suggested, "If you tell me what politics should do, I'll implement it quickly."

He also stressed that government or bureaucratic thinking is still an obstacle and backward politics is a problem, and that we need to think about a structure that can directly reflect the field situation felt by businessmen.
