When representative Han Dong-hoon called for a high-intensity reform of the presidential office, there was a mixed reaction within the pro-Yoon Seok-yeol community.

Some people still criticized representative Han for ordering the president's active attitude and spraying red pepper powder on what the president does.

Reporter Kim Da-yeon reports.

Floor leader Choo Kyung-ho, who has refrained from commenting on the presidential office, said, "I feel a heavy responsibility at the morning leadership meeting."

The remarks are interpreted as reflecting the sense of crisis within the party, which has been heightened by the release of the recording of the phone call between the president and Myung Tae-kyun, at a time when the party's approval rating is rarely struggling.

[Choo Kyung-ho / People's Power Floor Leader: We will make every effort to regain the trust of the people by reflecting on the issues that did not meet the expectations and support of the people.]

A member of the leadership, classified as a pro-Yoon Seok-yeolgye, also criticized that now is the time for the president's office to do anything to turn the tide.

At the closed-door meeting, there was also a strong statement that the prosecution should properly investigate the suspicion of Myung Tae-kyun.

[Kim Jae-won / Supreme Council Member for People's Power: The presidential office should take the initiative to resolve the situation. Over time, we may have to take stronger and stronger measures.

However, there are still many views that representative Han Dong-hoon's actions do not help the relationship between the president and the party.

Kwon Young-se, a former unification minister of the Yoon Suk Yeol government, said in a phone call with YTN that Han's claim was already considered by the presidential office.

It is interpreted as the intention that the presidential office should give time and opportunity to take the lead and solve it, but another pro-Yoon lawmaker set the day, saying that Han was only spraying red pepper powder, which he couldn't help the president.

Some pro-Yoon-gye lawmakers declined to comment, but considering the local public sentiment, it is also read that it is burdensome to cover the president's office as before.

In a phone call with YTN, a lawmaker with a district in Busan and South Gyeongsang Province (PK), which are strong conservatives, complained of a sense of crisis, asking how he would hold local elections in two years.

It is clear as much as the consensus that the division within the party is the way for the party and the government to co-destruct.

However, some analysts say that the pro-Yoon system is a complicated inner circle, such as unconditionally hitting a defense line in the presidential office or giving power to representative Han Dong-hoon.
