In June, police seized and searched six hospitals nationwide, including here, and secured patient information.We obtained information that fake patients with multiple
high-value insurance policies are flocking to certain hospitals.

A police investigation found that insurance planners attracted fake patients to lead the crime.
Police explained that if a patient visits and says he or she has a headache or chest, the doctor writes a false medical certificate.
As many as 31 people turned into brain or cardiovascular disease at the hospital, earning about 3.7 billion won.
The police arrested one insurance planner, one doctor, and two brokers as the main culprits.
The so-called "walk room" owner, who brokers prostitution women at entertainment establishments, also served as brokers.
The broker reportedly mobilized about 10 prostitution women for insurance fraud.
It has also been confirmed that an insurance planner mobilized a family to take out insurance money.
