A win-win consultative body to lower the burden of delivery apps for self-employed people will brief the results of the consultation after the 10th meeting.
Amid sharp differences in positions over brokerage fees, Coupang Eats also came out with differential fees today.
I wonder how much progress has been made in the consultation.
I'm connecting to the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
[Lee Jung-hee / Chairman of the Win-Win Council]
From the standpoint, I've now spent the differential fee. However, Coupang Itz did not submit the adjusted acceptance plan today. Instead, it will probably be submitted by tomorrow or the morning after tomorrow at the latest. That's why we planned the 11th round one more time. So I heard that Coupang Itz did not submit the details today, but they are revising it in the direction of the differential fee.
If so, we will receive and compare the final win-win plan of Baemin and Coupang, and discuss the differences that the store company is asking for in the 11th round. If the opinion is not narrowed down to win-win in the 11th round, our public interest committee members will probably discuss the arbitration opinion on it in the 11th round, considering the positions of the two companies and the store companies that we have now submitted, and if possible, shouldn't we wrap it up in the 11th round because we have already passed October? Currently, we have such a plan.
That's how it went. As you know, co-prosperity can be satisfactory to both sides in a way, and co-prosperity can be achieved only when concessions are made, so if possible, I hope that the operation consultative body will listen to some of the difficulties of small business owners and reflect them. In this respect, I asked for the cooperation of the platforms.
That's why I hope that if the platforms submit better amendments during the rest of the year, it will hopefully go win-win. So, first of all, three of the four issues have been agreed, and the last one remains whether to reach an agreement or not.
