China Returns 3 Shenzhou 18 Astronauts With 34.6kg of Space Experiment Samples

Three astronauts who stayed on the Chinese space station '宮' for 192 days returned to Earth with 'space test samples'.

China's state-run CCTV reported that three Shenzhou 18 aviators arrived at Dongfeng Landing Station in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region at 1:24 a.m. yesterday (4th).

Shenzhou 18 returned with an experimental sample weighing 34.6 kg secured in 28 fields, including ancient microbial research.

In addition, Ye Guangfu, who also boarded Shenzhou 13, was recorded as China's first astronaut to stay in space for more than a year accumulated through the completion of this mission.

The three Shenzhou 18 aviators docked at Tiangong on April 25 and took turns with the Shenzhou 19 aviators on April 30.

Since the completion of the space station at the end of 2022, China has launched and docked two manned spacecraft and one or two cargo spacecraft every year.
