The National Institute of Cultural Heritage and Wonju City said they will complete the restoration of the Jigwang State Pagoda and welcome visitors at the Beopcheonsa Temple Site Historic Exhibition Hall.
The national treasure was built in honor of Haerin, the governor of Jigwang, during the Goryeo Dynasty, and the Japanese of Japanese colonial era disbanded without permission and were taken out to Osaka before returning to Korea, but they moved several times and lived in a nomadic life, suffering damage from the Korean War.
