President Yoon Suk Yeol said, "We need to rekindle the spirit of hard work, self-help and cooperation and make the crisis before us a springboard for a great leap forward."President

Yoon made the remarks in a congratulatory speech this morning (5th) after attending the National Saemaul Leaders' Conference held in Ilsan for three consecutive years.President

Yoon said it is regrettable that the belief that 'you can do it' and the Saemaul spirit of 'live well' are gradually disappearing, and emphasized that the spirit of Saemaul Undong, which turned crisis into opportunity, is more urgent than ever.

He then said that we have another task ahead of us: medical, pension, labor, and education reform, and promised that successive governments would never give up and complete the four reforms because of the resistance to reform.President

Yoon added that the global security and economic situation is difficult to predict due to the war in Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East, and that North Korea is threatening our security and world peace.
