Wu will speak on the theme of "Parliament's Role in Promoting Sustainable Development" in response to the climate crisis and hold bilateral talks with high-level officials from Brazil, G20 member states and guest countries.
He will then visit Panama and meet with high-level officials such as the President and the Speaker of the National Assembly to discuss ways to strengthen practical cooperation with South Korea in water resource management and climate and eco-friendly infrastructure.
The 10-day trip will be accompanied by Reps. Kang Hoon-sik of the Democratic Party, Min Byung-deok, Lee So-young and Park Min-gyu, as well as Park Sung-hoon, Kim So-hee, and Lee Joon-seok of the New Reform Party.
