The artist company, which includes actors Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woo-sung, merged with Artist United.

"We have signed a merger agreement with Artist United," the artist company said in an official press release today (5th), adding, "It is expected that the company of Artist Company, a professional actor management, and Artist United, which is building solid production and distribution capabilities, will create strong synergy."

The artist company is an actor-specialized management company that includes actors Ahn Sung-ki, Lee Jung-jae, Jung Woo-sung, Yeom Jung-ah, Park Hae-jin, Kim Jong-soo, Park So-dam, Bae Sung-woo, Lim Ji-yeon, Shin Jung-geun, Kim Joon-han, Park Hoon, Won Jin-ah, Go Ah-sung, Pyo Ji-hoon, Kim Hye-yoon, and Jo Joy-hyun. He also produced content such as the Netflix series "Sea of Silence" and the movie "Hunt."

Artist United, where Lee Jung-jae, an in-house director of the artist company, became the largest shareholder last year, is a KOSDAQ listed company based on the AI big data platform business. It recently acquired Artist Studio (formerly Laemmongraein), which has created killer contents such as "The Youngest Son of a Congregation" and "Death to Snow White," and laid the foundation for producing contents of various genres.

Artist UNITY also strengthened its production and distribution sector by distributing this year's film "She's Dead," followed by the production of the drama "Salon de Holmes" based on the novel of the same name, and co-distributing the film "One Win" starring Song Kang-ho and Park Jung-min, which will be released next month.

Artist Company said, "With the merger of Artist United, Artist Company will achieve meaningful results through various challenges in domestic and international markets and establish itself as a comprehensive entertainment representing K contents by creating a healthy industry culture."
