The Incheon Association of Education Rights for the Disabled held a press conference in front of the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education today (5th) to find out the truth about the death of a special teacher and to improve educational conditions by identifying the current status of classes exceeding the legal quota.
They explained that the legal capacity of one special elementary school class is six, and that eight teachers died and asked for support, but the number of classes was not increased or temporary fixed-term teachers were not assigned.
He also condemned the education office for not properly supporting heavy tasks, saying that the administration had to take on the administration of hiring assistants alone.
In response, he urged them to secure special teachers and education budgets that meet the legal quota and to come up with a plan to increase the number of classes exceeding the quota.
Earlier on the evening of the 24th of last month, a special teacher working at an elementary school in Incheon was found dead at his home in Michuhol-gu.
