One person was killed and the other seriously injured in a fire at a two-story detached house in Jiphyeon-myeon, Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, around 5:30 p.m. today (5th).
The fire was extinguished in 30 minutes, but the 76-year-old husband, who was unable to escape due to disability, died, and the 64-year-old wife was seriously injured and is being treated at a hospital.
Police and fire authorities are investigating the exact cause of the fire.
