On the New York Stock Exchange, the Dow Jones 30 Industrial Average closed at 42,221.88, up 427.28 points and 1.02% from the previous session.
The Standard & Poor's 500 Index jumped 70.07 points and 1.23% from the previous session to 5,782.76, and the Nasdaq Composite Index closed at 18,439.17, up 259.19 points and 1.43% from the previous session.
The move is interpreted as a revival of buying sentiment, given that uncertainties related to the presidential election will be resolved no matter how the voting results come out.
Shares of Trump Media and Technology Group, which is the largest stake held by former President Trump, once rose around 15%, but ended up falling 1%.
