The Democratic Party of Korea criticized the public's claim that the first trial ruling of Lee Jae-myung should be broadcast live as an impure intention to pressure the court to achieve the desired result.

Park Chan-dae, the floor leader of the Supreme Council, said at the Supreme Council that the people's power is to claim Lee's innocence as a threat to the judiciary, but rather, the act of demanding live broadcasting is a real threat to the judiciary.

Rep. Kim Yong-min also appeared on the radio and pointed out that the ruling is public and anyone can go and listen to it, and that's why there are voices saying that the live broadcast of the ruling may be aimed at disgracing it with real-time videos.

Another lawyer-turned-Democrat also spoke to YTN on the phone, arguing that the live streaming of the ruling was an act of pressuring a judge to convict him.
