Musk's Past Remarks in Support of Trump "Left-wing Virus Killed My 'Son'" [Now News]

Tesla Inc TSLA CEO Elon Musk, who publicly supported Republican candidate Donald Trump during the U.S. presidential campaign, has made headlines over his past remarks in which he said he cheated into agreeing to his son's gender transition.

Musk appeared on the Internet's far-right Daily Wire in July and spoke with host Dr. Jordan Peterson for about two hours.

In the conversation, Musk said, "I agreed to sex change measures when I heard that my son might commit suicide," adding, "I didn't know what was going on because it was during COVID-19."

"(This behavior) is actually child castration and infertility measures, and it is an 'evil' to sexize adolescents who are experiencing identity crises," he said.

"I didn't hear the explanation that adolescent blockers were actually fertility drugs, and I lost my 'son' because of this," Musk said. "The left-wing virus killed my 'son'."

He also stressed that it is not necessary to force children with yet-to-be-confused gender identities to undergo irreversible procedures.

"[After this experience] I vowed to break the wok virus ideology," Musk said.

After the video of the interview was released, Musk explained to his X that he had known his son Xavier was gay since he was a child, but he was not a "woman."

Xavier Alexander, Elon Musk's first son, became a woman through transgender surgery around 2020, and after changing his name to Vivian Jenna Wilson after his mother's last name, he is isolated from Musk.
