The Seoul Central District Court sentenced Cho, who was handed over to trial on charges of fraud today (6th), to two years in prison.
The court explained that Cho distorted IDS Holdings CEO's first trial and appeal trial in favor and made several investment victims decide that the business was legal and not a problem.
At the same time, he judged that he seemed to have at least recognized the deception and fraud of the representative as a lawyer.
Cho, an advisor to IDS Holdings and a lawyer for former CEO Kim Sung-hoon, is accused of aiding and abetting fraud worth 300 billion won in 2016, including giving a lecture to a large number of unspecified investors about the unfair punishment of the first trial and appeal against Kim.
