Vice President Kamala Harris has no plans to deliver a public speech on the 6th local time, Harris' campaign said, with former President Donald Trump dominating in presidential contention states.
Harris campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond told supporters gathered at Howard University, Harris' alma mater, at around 1 a.m. local time on the 6th.
He added that Vice President Harris will speak tomorrow.
The Associated Press also quoted a White House official as saying that Vice President Harris is not scheduled to speak today.
Vice President Harris reportedly did not appear at Howard University in Washington, D.C., where Democratic figures and others are watching the vote count, until midnight, unlike the notice.
