Representative Shin's arrest agreement is expected to be reported to the plenary session on the 14th, and to be voted on the 28th, when the next plenary session is scheduled.
Hwang Jung-ah, a spokesman for the Democratic Party of Korea, said, "We need to discuss more with the reporters who asked if the rejection of Shin's arrest agreement was decided by the party."
Earlier, the prosecution requested an arrest warrant, believing that lawmaker Shin received bribes to resolve complaints about the solar power business and was involved in manipulating public opinion in the party's primary process ahead of the 22nd general election.
