It will be decided today (7th) whether to disclose the identity of an active military officer who killed a female military officer who was working with her and dumped her body in the Bukhangang River in Hwacheon-gun, Gangwon-do.

The Gangwon Police Agency will hold a review committee on the disclosure of personal information this afternoon (7th) to decide whether to disclose personal information of the suspect, identified only by his surname Yang.

Earlier, the police conducted a field verification with Yang yesterday (6th) at the North Korean River in Hwacheon, Gangwon-do, where he abandoned his body following his unit.

If the suspect Yang's personal information is disclosed, it is the first case in charge of the Gangwon Police Agency, and if Yang does not immediately agree to the disclosure, a five-day grace period will be given.
