Lebanon's pro-Iranian militant Hezbollah, which is at war with Israel, has dismissed former U.S. President Donald Trump's presidential victory as having no interest.

Hezbollah Secretary General Naim Qasem said in a pre-recorded speech released on the 6th local time that they were not counting the results of the U.S. presidential election.

He also stressed that ceasefire negotiations are possible only when Israel stops invading, and that they will make Israel realize that it is losing on the battlefield.

The United States, which is mediating a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, sent special envoy Amos Hochstein to the Middle East late last month to discuss the deal, but failed to make progress.
