All three major indexes of the New York Stock Exchange closed at an all-time high on the news of former President Donald Trump's victory in the presidential election.

As former President Trump has been cryptocurrency-friendly, Bitcoin once crossed the $76,000 mark.

Historically, the U.S. stock market has tended to rise regardless of which party's candidate wins the presidential election.

It was like that this time, too.

The Dow Jones jumped 3.57% for its highest gain in two years.

The S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite also jumped more than 2%, with all three major indexes closing at record highs.

Expectations that the Trump administration's tax cuts and deregulation policies will have a positive effect on business activity have spurred investor sentiment.

Stocks that are considered Trump beneficiaries also rose significantly.

In particular, Tesla shares of Elon Musk, who has been supporting a large cash-spreading campaign at the end of the campaign, soared nearly 15%.

Former President Trump has also vowed to create a government efficiency committee to put Musk as head if he wins the presidential election.

Bitcoin also enjoyed the effect of former President Trump's election to make the U.S. the virtual currency capital.

It broke the all-time record in one day.

[Donald Trump / Former U.S. President (last July): If Bitcoin's value soars, I want the U.S. to be the leading country on the path. It's going to be like that. You will be very happy with me.]

However, as former President Trump announced his plan to return to fossil fuels, eco-friendly and clean energy stocks struggled.
