Manager Ryu Joong-il confirmed 28 entries among the 34 participants in the training, except for six, including starting agent Um Sang-baek, right-handed bullpen Jeon Sang-hyun, and Kim Young-woong, who has a shoulder injury.
With Um Sang-baek out, the national team, which will play five qualifying games, plans to set up a starting lineup with four players: Kwak Bin, Ko Young-pyo, Lim Chan-kyu and Choi Seung-yong.
After the last training today, the national team will leave for Taiwan tomorrow morning (8th), the first showdown site.
