China's General Administration of Customs reported a 12.7% increase in exports in October compared with the same period last year.
The growth was the highest since March 2023, significantly exceeding market forecasts of 5.2 percent and 5 percent.
Imports fell 2.3% year-on-year in October to a trade surplus of $95.27 billion (about 133 trillion won).
