The bereaved families of forced mobilization victims, who were taken to the workplace of Japanese war criminal company Mitsubishi Group and suffered hardships, won the damages lawsuit after five years and seven months.

The Gwangju District Court ruled today (7th) that Mitsubishi should pay alimony and delayed damages to 14 out of 19 plaintiffs in a damage suit filed by 19 bereaved families of forced mobilization victims against Mitsubishi's affiliates.

The lawsuit was filed in April 2019 and the first trial was sentenced in five years and seven months.
