President-elect Donald Trump, who returned to the White House as the 47th U.S. president, entered the second term of his administration in Mar-a-Lago, Florida.

The prevailing expectation is that the key positions of the second term of power, which will be launched in January next year, will be thoroughly filled by loyalists.

Correspondent Lee Seung-yoon's report from Florida.

Mar-a-Lago Resort in Florida Becomes Transition Base for President-elect Donald Trump,

Here, he and his staff entered the second term of the government to expedite the unfinished "America First" policy.

As he suffered internal strife after using Republican connections in the first term, the prevailing expectation is that he will fill the second term with loyalists.

Former German Ambassador Rick Grenell, former White House national security adviser Robert O'Brien and Senators Bill Hagerty and Mark Rubio are among the candidates for secretary of state to oversee foreign policy.

Candidates for defense secretary include Senator Tom Cotton, a former Army officer, and former Congressman Lee Zeldin, a former Iraq deployment officer.

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon, Billionaire, Could Be Treasurer,
Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who is considered one of the top contributors to Trump's election, is also expected to take an important position.

In the meantime, diplomatic envoys from around the world are coordinating policies with Trump's second term, with Ambassador to the U.S. Cho Hyun-dong heading to Mar-a-Lago.

Locals cheered Trump's election but pointed out the urgent need for a solution to inflation and immigration.

Some are worried that Trump will implement extreme foreign policy.

[Jen Zeng / Florida resident] I expect Trump to do a lot of things that isolate the United States and divide the United States at the same time.]

Floridians are eager to see the U.S. economy prosper again and the division of American society now end in the wake of former President Trump's election.
