For the first time in Korea, a project to utilize the space under the railway of Cheongju KTX Osong Station in North Chungcheong Province, the so-called "shipment site" will be carried out in earnest.

North Chungcheong Province Governor Kim Young-hwan, who toured the European railway station's loading site, decided to create a conference room by early next year because Osong Station is geographically competitive in the center of the country.

This is Lee Seong-woo's base.

St. Pancras station in London, England.

It is the departure and final stop of Eurostar, an international high-speed railway, and is used by numerous tourists and office workers every day.

One of the special things about this station with more than 100 years of history is the site of the lading located under the railroad track.

There are various shopping malls on the site under the track, providing convenience to station users.

North Chungcheong Province Governor Kim Young-hwan has decided to tour the site and benchmark it at KTX Osong Station.

Osong Station is also a KTX branch station, and it was judged that it was geographically competitive as well as the number of passengers.

We plan to create a conference room, a multi-purpose public facility, on a trial basis to check demand.

[Kim Young-hwan / North Chungcheong Province Governor: If we make this in Osong, I think the demand will be explosive. I have to try, but to the conference room where I can come an hour from all over the country, have a meeting here and go back (for now)....]

The construction of the Osong Station Lading Site Project will begin as soon as Korail grants permission to act as a rail protection zone, and the construction will be completed by March next year at the latest.

Concern over safety concerns, Chungcheongbuk-do believes that the structure will not affect train operations and safety because the structure will be installed about 2 meters from the concrete pillar supporting the Osong Station railway.

Attention is focusing on whether the use of the train station lading site, which will be introduced for the first time in Korea, will lead to the effect of using idle space.
