The Coast Guard is conducting a search after a fishing boat sank in the sea near Jeju Island.
Only 14 of the 27 crew members were rescued and the remaining 13 are being searched.

Yes, it was around 4:30 a.m. today (8th) that a fishing boat was reported to be sinking in the sea about 24 kilometers northwest of Biyangdo Island, Jeju.The ship in the
accident was a large fishing boat with more than 120 tons, with a total of 27 people on board.
Other ships passing by rescued 14 people, but two of them are unconscious, and the other 13 are still missing.
Of the 27 crew members on board, 16 were Koreans, and the remaining 11 were foreigners.
The Coast Guard is mobilizing six patrol boats and two helicopters to search, and eight civilian fishing boats are also participating in the search.
It is also known that the Navy will also be dispatched to help search the scene.
Prime Minister Han Deok-soo issued an emergency order saying that saving lives is the best thing to do in connection with the sinking.
Minister of Public Administration and Security Lee Sang-min ordered related agencies such as Jeju Island and the Korea Coast Guard to make all-out efforts to rescue survivors by mobilizing all available resources.
