According to an analysis of more than 3,800 deliberations on laundry services applied by the Korea Consumer Agency from last year to September this year, 57% were found to be responsible for businesses such as poor product quality or laundry negligence.
Due to the negligence of the laundry business operator, 51% of the cases were inappropriate for the washing method.
In addition, about half of all applications were related to the top 10 laundry operators, of which 70% were cases related to Cleantopia and World Cleaning.
The Korea Consumer Agency has decided to launch a campaign to prevent damage with laundry operators, such as making posters of consumer precautions and posting them in stores when requesting laundry.
In addition, consumers were asked to carefully check the condition of the product before and after the laundry request and immediately check for defects on the spot.
