Actor Kim Kang-woo will return to the stage of the play.

As a result of YTN coverage today (8th), Kim Kang-woo was cast in the play "Red Leaves" and is set to return to the stage in January next year. "Red Leaves" is based on the novel of the same name by Thomas H. Cook, a leading American mystery writer.

The work delicately depicts the process of Eric's son's disappearance as a suspect and blinking in faith and doubt for the truth. It will be performed from January to March next year at the Dal Oreum Theater of the National Theater.

Through "Red Leaves," Kim Kang-woo will return to the theater stage for the first time in eight years since "Hamlet-The Play" in 2016. An official from Kim Kang-woo's agency, NSENM, told YTN, "Kim Kang-woo has received the proposal and is reviewing it positively."

Meanwhile, Kim Kang-woo made his debut in the 2002 film "Coastal Line" and has been active in the drama "The Duke City," "Wonderful World," "The Tyrant," "The Silmido," "Taste of Money," "Ganshin," "Geummun," and "Gwimongja."
