Damaged metropolitan water supply facilities in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do...Waterworks such as Seosan and Hongseong

Yesterday (7th) around 8:30 p.m., the air valve of the Hongseong Pressurization Plant in Boryeong, Chungcheongnam-do, was damaged due to aging.

As a result, water supply was cut off to more than 3,000 apartments in Gobuk-myeon, Seosan-si, Galsan-myeon, Hongseong-gun, and Guseong-myeon.

The Korea Water Resources Corporation said it plans to complete emergency restoration work by the afternoon, but water supply areas are expected to occur in Dangjin and Taean.
