In a press release, the president's office defined the DDoS attacks targeting some public and private websites as a "pro-Russian hacktivist" group and explained that their attacks have become frequent since North Korea sent troops to Russia and participated in the Ukraine war.
The president's office said that access to the website of some organizations has been delayed or cut off for a while, but there is no other damage.
The NIS is actively responding by watching their activities and sharing the situation with related agencies, and said it will strengthen its preparedness for cyber threats as there is a possibility that the attack will continue depending on the situation in the Ukraine war.
