"Rumors or statements that I am interested in selling shares in Truth Social are false," Trump said in a post on Truth Social.
"It appears to have been created by market manipulators or short sellers," he said, adding that authorities are asking for an investigation into anyone who started fake rumors or statements.
Earlier, shares of Truth Social's parent company, "Trump Media and Technology Group," rose sharply and plunged due to former President Trump's presidential election victory, and are recovering again after Trump's SNS post.
