Large-scale rallies by the two major umbrella unions and the Democratic Party of Korea are held throughout downtown Seoul today (9th), which is expected to cause traffic congestion.

From 4 p.m., the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions and civic groups will hold the "First Retreat General Assembly" and march around Daehanmun, Jung-gu, and the one-way street will be closed.

The Federation of Korean Trade Unions will hold a rally at Yeouido Yeouido Yeouido from 2 p.m. to denounce the government's anti-labor policy,

Conservative groups, including the Liberty Unification Party, have announced that they will hold a counter-reaction rally in Gwanghwamun called the National Convention to Combat Jusa faction.

In preparation for traffic congestion, the police plan to operate the opposite side of the assembly site as a variable lane and deploy more than 220 experienced people to take care of the vehicle.
