More than 19,400 users were affected by ChatGPT service failures as of 7:13 p.m. ET on the 8th, Reuters said, citing a "downdetector" that tracks online disruptions.
OpenAI, the developer, said in a statement it was "looking into the matter" and was "working to restore functionality as soon as possible."
In ChatGPT, large-scale connectivity failures occurred in June of this year and late last year as well.
